It was the coroners court on Friday. The verdict was expected Accidental Death. The coroner was very kind as were all of his staff. 2 Friends ended up at the court with me and they and the thoughts from friends and family gave me a lot of strength.
Family were allowed to ask questions, l didn't l could picture the whole thing as l have a skydiving background.
The witnesses, Gary, Dave, John, Richard did a very hard job with dignity and l would like to thank them for the way they gave evidence, it was clear and understandable.
Press were skulking around but l ignored them. The coroner had a word with us about when the clips would be on and that the bbc and itv camera men were basically ok and known to him. I just didn't want anything to do with them though and left the court so fast l left one friend trailing.

Brian passed in a skydiving accident in 2010 that killed him & his friend, I know he is with me he helps, guides me & gives me strength to go on when l falter, which is quite often. I met Andy and we married last year. He is just as amazing as Brian but totally different except they were/are both great cooks. I am now polyandrous . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . A tough day... I am not looking forward to ours which has now been delayed until February..and away from home too. Imagine it will raise questions too.
Knowing the verdict doesn't reduce the pain for you who loved him. Thinking of you.
Thanks Fi. It was a long day l went down the day before and stayed with friends then drove back home after the inquest.
I hope your coroner is as good and kind as ours. He put my mind at rest before explaining everything and during kept it all smooth in the court, l know that is his job but when you are in that situation it makes a difference to feel confident that it is being dealt with properly.
It is not an ending as some people meaning well have said. It is just another step along life's path that has to be walked so we can take the next one.
